Looking for stock photography for bloggers or anyone else? It can be hard to find just what you want. Sometimes you just can’t take it yourself or you just want a good looking photo for a piece you wrote. However some stock photography sites have outrageous fees and many require you to pay a lump sum for a certain amount of downloads per day. What if you just want one? The terms and conditions are also crazy long and hard to understand.
Jill from Blog Chicka Blog (a site with blogging tips) also happens to be a great photography (she has a photography blog as well.) She merged her love of photography and blogging when she created Blog Chicka Blog because she offers stock photos that she took herself.
Her stock photography store already had more than 500 images and keeps growing. When you purchase an image, you get 2 sizes in a zip file. You can buy just ONE photo if you want and each photo is only $1. The Terms and conditions are short and easy to understand. Also when you sign up for her email list, you will get a code to download one free image with EVERY newsletter!
In addition to her photography she has lots of helpful posts about blogging like I mentioned. Her recent post about the Pinterest changes was AMAZING.
I am very thankful that Jill agreed to be a sponsor for The Blogathon Games because her photos are great and her blogging advice is spectacular.

I have always wondered about stock photos but never knew enough about where to get them or how to properly use them. This seems like a safe and reliable way to infuse professional shots into content.

I always need pictures for posts and sometimes I do not have time to take my own.

This is a great idea! I love the idea of being able to get quality photos. Stock photos are usually just... meh.
