Buying Twitter Followers–Just Say No

Buying Followers is dishonest

By now many people have heard about the Status People web app that determines if your twitter followers are fake.

I briefly contemplated buying followers way back when I had 500 followers and I wanted to get the bigger review opportunities. I quickly realized though that it was stupid, dishonest and unethical and I didn’t want to do that. I wanted real followers and I don’t like doing things “wrong.” Ask my husband, he calls me his good girl. I find lots of things morally wrong that he considers okay sometimes.

You can read more about the buying follower trend over at MamaNYC’s post: Five Finds Friday: The Buying Twitter Followers Trend.

I just wanted to say… JUST SAY NO!!

Very well said! Seeing my blog and followers grow naturally makes me proud of my accomplishment, it must not feel very good to know you are buying your success!
