How the Blogathon Began
The Biannual Blogathon Bash was started in 2012 by Kathleen Bailey-Gerber after she missed the kind of collaborative blogging event she had enjoyed in the past. The idea grew into a community event where bloggers could work together, set goals, tackle overdue tasks, and encourage one another.
Since 2018
In 2018, the site was taken over by Sheri Ann Richerson, a longtime blogger, author, educator, speaker, gardener, and homesteader.
Sheri began publishing online in the 1990s and has spent decades working across blogging, content creation, SEO, affiliate marketing, social media, publishing, and digital business. She continues to use this site to share practical lessons from that experience while also preserving and rebuilding the Blogathon as a twice-yearly event.
