The Idea
What Is the Biannual Blogathon Bash?
The Biannual Blogathon Bash is a twice-yearly blogging event built to help people do more than simply catch up on a to-do list. It creates focused time to work on your blog while learning alongside other bloggers, creators, and experienced teachers.
You can come with a project that needs attention, a skill you want to learn, or a business goal you are ready to move forward. The point is not busywork. It is practical progress you can see when the event is over.
Learn, Connect & Build Something That Pays
The Bash is meant to combine community, hands-on classes, focused work sessions, and real implementation. Learn a strategy, ask questions, work on it while the lesson is still fresh, and leave with something actually completed.
That includes learning how to grow an audience, strengthen your content, improve SEO and email marketing, create products, work with brands, use affiliate income, and build sustainable ways to make money doing work you genuinely love.

Who Is It For?
The Biannual Blogathon Bash is for bloggers who want to make progress without pretending they have unlimited time, energy, or perfectly organized businesses.
You do not have to be a full-time blogger. You do not need a certain traffic level. You do not have to start a brand-new blog or publish a specific number of posts. The event is about identifying the work that matters for your blog and giving yourself a reason to finally do it.
The Legacy
How the Blogathon Began
The Biannual Blogathon Bash began in 2012, created by Kathleen Bailey-Gerber after she missed the kind of collaborative blogging event she had enjoyed in the past. It grew into a community event where bloggers could set goals, tackle overdue work, and encourage one another while making progress together.
In 2018, the site was taken over by Sheri Ann Richerson, a longtime blogger, author, educator, speaker, gardener, and homesteader. Today, the site continues as Building Better Blogs while preserving the history of the Biannual Blogathon Bash and rebuilding it as a twice-yearly event.
A Different Way Forward
Tried All the Things - and Still Not Where You Want to Be?
♥
Maybe you have taken the courses, downloaded the checklists, chased the algorithms, tried the latest platforms, published more content, and kept adding one more thing to your list - yet the goal you started with still feels frustratingly far away.
Stop Chasing Everything
Step away from the constant stream of tactics and decide what result actually matters to you.
Learn What You Need
Get practical teaching, ask questions, and apply what you learn while you have support around you.
Build Toward the Goal
Use focused work and community accountability to create something that moves your blog, business, or income forward.
The Bash is not about doing more. It is about doing things differently - together - so all that effort can finally lead somewhere.
